Long term label collaborater both with his other band KING PRAWN and his solo works. HANS DEVILLE reunites with his rag tag posse of musicians from FFBV and The Longshore Drifters. 2021’s album Prophecies of the Lost was the record that fired up this label. He’s currently working on a follow up..

COLUMN258 in their own words .. “Gonna be a biggie baby!!! If you’ve seen us before, thank you! , and expect the usual unpredictable set of improvisation around some flexible structures… fuck me , pretentious! Ha! It will be fascinating to see how it all works with the mighty @kingzepha and @hansdevillemusic …” Back in 2025 they released “INTERLOPER” a ltd to 100 pressings. Got a page review in The Wire, and air play from Gilles Peterson and Huey Morgan.

KING ZEPHA the fresh faced new addition to the label roster. Currently on a massive 30 date UK & European tour, we know their combo of spiritual jazz, dub and rocksteady ska is gonna get the crowd jumping! “The Return of..” album is out this month through general retail.. but we are down to the last box already, through sales on tour and mailorder.

We love SURFIN DAVE , from seeing him support Thee Headshrinkers in Bournemouth. His warm charismatic style got us thinking a cross between “Eddie Cochran and Billy Bragg.” He got front cover of the NME in the 80’s and played the North England circuit heavily back then. I’m hounding him for some music..

What can we say about FRANK FROM BLUE VELVET? The father & daughter fronted provocateurs The vocal style of Lee Hazelwood sitting on a post country, post punk, dark gothic soundscape underpinned by Peter & The Test Tube Babies original drummer, Ogs. They’ve got style and sinsister substance.. They do not aim to please.. and they promise a crop of new material this Sunday. Check latest album I AM FRANK here.

…and lastly JENNY DON’T & THE SPURS.. In 2024 I sent them a message over instagram saying “JENNY HAS TO PLAY THE JENNY!”.. and this is what is so cool about the.. Jenny got straight back and said “Hell Yeah”.. The eventual show in Feb 2025 saw a rammed room busting with energy. The whole thing was recorded for the 3rd volume of the “Live at the Jenny” series. PUNK GARAGE COUNTRY - LET’S GO !!!!
